In light of recent union busting and protests in Wisconsin and elsewhere, The Mountain Goats leader John Darnielle has released a video in support of the public employee union workers in Wisconsin. He performed the Billy Bragg song "There is Power in a Union," which is set to the tune of the traditional Christian song "There is Power in the Blood." Check out the video below.Billy Bragg performed the song himself when he was at UNC performing for the early vote rally in 2008. Check out photos from that event HERE.
