Prince announces southern tour, coming to Raleigh

The one and only Prince has announced the first southern dates of his Welcome 2 America Tour. All six dates are in North and South Carolina and are in March! Yes, it starts in less than two weeks.

The purple one will play the RBC Center on Wednesday, March 23. Tickets go on sale on Monday, March 14 at 10 a.m. via the box office and Ticketmaster. Prices will be $20, $49.50, $79, $119 or $199.

[UPDATE 2: Chaka Khan has been added as a special guest for the show at the RBC Center as well as the show in Greensboro.]

He'll also play the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday, March 26 with tickets also on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 14. He'll play Charlotte, Columbia, Greenville (SC) and North Charleston as well. Check out the full schedule below.
