[UPDATE] Eels announce 'Tremendous Dynamite' world tour, coming to Carrboro

The ever evolving band Eels, led by frontman Mark Everett (known as E), are gearing up for a big world tour this summer in support of their recent trilogy of albums released from 2009 to 2010, Hombre Lobo, End Times and Tomorrow Morning.

The tour will bring the band to the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Monday, July 25. Tickets for the show will go on sale via etix on Saturday, April 2 but the price is not available yet for $18. The Submarines will open.

[UPDATE: Eels have canceled the Cat's Cradle show in order to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman. Tickets will be refunded. Opening act The Submarines will still be performing. Ticket info is TBA.]

Eels are giving away a song from each of the three albums, "Fresh Blood" from Hombre Lobo, "A Line in the Dirt" from End Times and "I Like the Way This is Going" from Tomorrow Morning. Just fork over a working email address in the widget below to download the songs.
