The husband and wife duo Shovels and Rope, featuring Charleston, SC singer-songwriters Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent, are staying busy on the road over the next few months and will be hitting the Triangle twice.
First, they'll play Silm's in downtown Raleigh on Monday, August 15 with Amy Echstenkamper and Nicole Lexi Davis. Tickets will be $5 at the door.
The following night, Tuesday, August 16, the duo will headline at Local 506 in Chapel Hill. The Bayonets will open the show. The cover is still TBA.
Cary Ann Hearst released her new album Lions and Lambs earlier this year. Check out a performance of the song "The Thread" from the album below.
