Two frequent visitors to the Triangle lately, Dawes and Blitzen Trapper, are teaming up for a co-headlining tour this fall that will bring them back again with new albums in tow.
The bands will play the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Saturday, October 22. Smoke Fairies will open the show. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 12 via etix for $15.
Dawes' sophomore album Nothing is Wrong was released in June and Blitzen Trapper will release their new album American Goldwing on September 13. Download a free six-song EP, featuring three songs (both new and old) from each band, via the widget below.
Dawes will also be in the Triangle much sooner, opening for Alison Krauss and Union Station at Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary on Thursday, August 11. They also played the Cradle back in May. Check out photos and a review of that show HERE.
