The Jayhawks announce new album & fall tour, coming to Durham

Veteran alt-country band The Jayhawks are back in action and are prepping their first new album since 2003's Rainy Day Music, but the first featuring Mark Olson since 1995's Tomorrow the Green Grass. The new album is titled Mockingbird Time and will be released on September 20 via Rounder Records.

After a few shows in their home state of Minnesota in September, the band will embark on a lengthy fall tour in October. The tour will stop at the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Wednesday, October 26. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 5 via Ticketmaster for $28 to $38.
