Rhode Island folk rock band Deer Tick have been quite productive in recent years, releasing an album a year in 2009, 2010 and now, 2011. The new album, titled Divine Providence, will be out on October 25, and as expected, a big tour is scheduled for the fall.
The tour will stop at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Monday, October 17, about a week before the new album hits shelves. Virgin Forest will open the show. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 26 via etix for $14.
