Butch Walker announces new album & tour, coming to Raleigh

Butch Walker and his band The Black Widows are gearing up for the release of his sixth solo album (his second with The Black Widows) titled The Spade on August 30. A North American tour will follow in October.

The band will play its usual local spot, the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, on Friday, October 28. Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst, known as Shovels and Rope, will open the show along with another act which has not been announced yet. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 19 via etix for $16.
