Hopscotch adds four new bands, loses two + schedule changes

With the Hopscotch Festival now less than a month away, there are a few shake ups happening in the lineup.

First, the bad news. The Lights Pines and Apex Manor are no longer playing the festival. The good news is, there have been four new bands added to the lineup, The Men, Fan Modine, Hospitality and Dreamers of the Ghetto (who will take The Light Pines slot opening for The Flaming Lips and Superchunk).

The lineup changes have led to some schedule changes, most notably, J Mascis being moved to the Fletcher Opera Theater. Check out the full schedule HERE to see if you need to alter your festival plans.

Ross Flournoy of Apex Manor was scheduled to take part in a panel on songwriting on Friday, September 9. Stu Mclamb of The Love Language will take his place.

Flournoy was also scheduled to play a day party on Saturday, September 10 at Deep South Bar. There's no word yet on his absence will change that lineup. We'll keep you posted on any new information that comes down the pike.
