The Grammys announced a last-minute performance earlier this week would team up the legendary Bob Dylan with North Carolina favorites The Avett Brothers and their U.K. counterpart Mumford & Sons and that performance happened tonight, February 13.
It featured "Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" from The Avetts, "The Cave" from Mumford & Sons and then everyone joined Bob Dylan for a rendition of the classic "Maggie's Farm." Dylan sounds pretty rough these days, but you've got to admire his spunk as pulls out a few crooner moves while performing. Watch the video below thanks to The Audio Perv.

Got stuck watching the Grammys tonight with my wife. After wading through the typical BS, I was blown away when bands that I like, came out and played together. Real players, ripping it up. Perhaps good music will make a long over due return.
I loved the entrance by Dylan's band. It looked like an amphibious landing. Nice job by the Avetts in slightly adverse conditions.
Well, darn. I missed the Grammys and now they've blocked videos. I understand not wanting to infringe on copyrights, but, darn anyway.
