Steve Miller Band & Gregg Allman announce spring tour, coming to Cary

The spring and summer tours are starting to roll out and this April an interesting pair of classic rock artists for a run of dates. That pair is Steve Miller Band and Gregg Allman.

Their brief run will stop at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on Wednesday, April 20. Ticket info isn't available yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Gregg Allman had liver transplant surgery in June of 2010, leading the Allman Brothers to not play their annual gig at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre for the first time since the venue opened. This will be his first gig in the Triangle since October 2009.

Steve Miller Band was last in the Triangle in November 2009 playing DPAC in Durham. Check out a video of Steve Miller performing the classic "The Joker" solo from that show below.
