The Chapin Sisters announce spring shows, coming to Chapel Hill & Raleigh

The sibling duo The Chapin Sisters, who are thedaughters of Tom Chapin and nieces of Harry Chapin (that's quite a lineage), are hitting the road this spring in support of their latest album Two, released in September 2010.

They will come to Local 506 in Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 9. Tickets are on sale now via etix for $10.

[UPDATE: The Chapin Sisters will also play the Berkley Cafe in Raleigh on Sunday, April 10. Tickets for the show are also $10 and will be available soon via etix.]

Check out a PBS feature about the group's music below, which features clips of the duo covering the Brittany Spears sonic "Toxic" in fantastic, haunting way. It was filmed while they were on tour with She & Him, with whom they supplied backing vocals as well as opening the shows.
