New music from Dave Matthews Band - "Funny the Way It Is"

I've been incredibly interested to hear new music from the Dave Matthews Band ever since they announced that their new album Big Whiskey & the Groo Grux King was produced by Rob Cavallo who produced Green Day's American Idiot. It is also the first album since the tragic passing of saxphone player LeRoi Moore.

Well, now we can all have a listen. The band are now giving away the first single from the album "Funny the Way It Is" on their website if you're willing to give them you email address (just a heads up, you can skip the mobile phone number box). It's actually not a bad song. I've not been a fan of Dave Matthews in quite a long time, but I can dig it.

You can also check out a video of the band talking about the album below which includes some emotional moments talking about LeRoi.

Big Whiskey & the Groo Grux King will be out on June 2 via RCA Records. Dave Matthews Band's new tour kicks off tonight in New York City. The tour will stop at Walnut Creek next week on April 22 with The Avett Brothers opening. Check out more info on the tour here.
