NC State is throwing a big Earth Week concert on April 24 at Lee Field. The show also happens to fall on the last day of classes for the spring semester. Local superstars Annuals will headline with Lonnie Walker and Cougar Magnum opening the show. The concert is free and will start at 6 pm.
Annuals will also play in Wilmington at UNCW's Trask Coliseum on April 25. Annuals will open for the headliners Citizen Cope and Vanessa Carlton. Now that's an odd line-up. Tickets for UNCW students are $15 in advance and are $25 for the general public.
There are college shows popping up left and right. Check out info on Duke's last-day-of-classes show here.
[UPDATE: Apparently this show is for NC State students only who can bring one guest. It's quite a bummer that the public can't go to an Earth Week event.]
