Merge Records lands seven of Amazon's top 100 indie albums

Online superstore Amazon just recently released their list of the 100 Greatest Indie Rock Albums of All Time. It's an interesting list but what's most interesting is that Merge Records snagged seven spots on the list including the number two spot. Neutral Milk Hotel's In An Aeroplane Over the Sea was beat out for the number one spot by Guided By Voices' Bee Thousand.

Check out the top 10 below and all of the Merge albums. I am counting Superchunk's No Pocky For Kitty in the seven even though it was originally released by Matador then re-released by Merge. Check out the entire Top 100 here.
