Bon Iver announces summer tour with The Rosebuds, coming to Raleigh

Former Triangle resident and indie rock superstar Justin Vernon is finally preparing to release the long-awaited sophomore album from his band Bon Iver on June 21. The album is titled Bon Iver, Bon Iver. He'll hit the road this summer and he's taking The Rosebuds along as the opening act.

The tour will come to the the Raleigh Amphitheater on Friday, July 29. Tickets for much of the tour go on sale this Friday, but ticket info for Raleigh is not available yet. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 13 for $24.50 to $37.

Vernon is taking an eight-piece band on tour which will include a three-piece horn section which should make for a killer set. No full songs from the new album have surfaced yet, but Check out a short teaser video for the album below which features a short clip of new music.
