Local trio Megafaun are currently galavanting across Europe, bringing their unique brand of southern folk to the masses. During the Green Man Festival in Wales on Sunday, Aug. 22, the band teamed up with The Tallest Man on Earth for an amazing cover of Gillian Welch's "Everything Is Free" and someone captured it in HD video and uploaded in to YouTube. Check it out below.The musicians all teamed up earlier this year at a secret show in Europe and performed a breathtaking cover of Bon Iver's "Creature Fear." Check out that video below too.
Megafaun are coming home soon to play the Hopscotch Festival in downtown Raleigh on September 9-11 (tickets available here) and then a three-night stand at the Hayti Center in Durham on Sept. 17-19 with Fight the Big Bull, Justin Vernon and Sharon Van Etten (tickets available here).
