Kings is reopening on Saturday night!

Since closing it's doors over three years ago to make a way for a parking deck in downtown Raleigh, Kings Barcade is finally ready to open it's doors once more at their new location at 14 W. Martin St.

The club will open on Saturday night, Aug. 28 with Bandway, Dynamite Brothers and Starmount. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. with music starting at 9:30 p.m.

The opening was originally slate for Friday, Aug. 27, but the opening was pushed back a day due to inspections needing to be passed, which they now have. The Aug. 27 show featuring Spring Collection, The Royal Nites and The Tomahawks has been moved to Slim's.

The new space will hold 250 as opposed to the old club's 200 capacity and unlike the old space, the stage will be visible by everyone in the room. Check out a detailed piece on Kings featuring quotes from co-owners Ben Barwick and Paul Siler here.
