There's no denying that Daytrotter is one of the coolest music sites around these days and they seem to like bands from the Triangle. The Rosebuds, Annuals, Megafaun and others have recorded sessions for them. Now they've added another Triangle band to the list, Lost in the Trees, who just re-released their stellar album All Alone in an Empty House in August.
The band played three songs from the album, the title track, "Walk Around the Lake" and "Song For the Painter." They also performed a really great unreleased song called "An Artists Song." Stream or download the session here.
Lost in the Trees next local show is at the free Trekky Hopscotch day party on Saturday, Sept. 11 at The Pour House in Raleigh. Check out a full list of the band's upcoming shows below.
