Sad news today from The Everybodyfields. The Tennessee band's core members Sam Quinn and Jill Andrews are going their separate ways, marking the end of the band's five-plus year career. It's a shame because the band's last album, 2007's Nothing Is Okay, was phenomenal.
Both songwriters are continuing with their own solo projects. Sam Quinn is playing with his new band Sam Quinn and Japan Ten and Jill Andrews will be playing under her own name.
Sam Quinn and Japan Ten will be playing The Pour House on June 19 with The Jackets. Advance tickets for the show are available here for $6. Check out Sam's other upcoming dates below. Jill doesn't have any shows scheduled right now.
Check out our old review of The Everybodyfields show with Chatham County Line at the Cat's Cradle last March here and their show at The Pour House last January here. Nothing Is Okay was also the number 10 album in our readers' poll in 2007.
Needless to say, we'll miss the band but we'll keep you informed on what they're up to in the future.
