Polvo to release first new album since 1997 via Merge

After reforming in 2008 to play All Tomorrows Parties and subsequently playing some shows in the Triangle, Polvo is now gearing up to release their first new album since 1997. Merge Records will release In Prism on September 8, mostly recorded by Brian Paulson in Asheville, NC.

The album will feature eight new songs from the band and you can check out the track list below. They are set to play the XX Merge Festival in July at the Cat's Cradle. Check out more dates below and even more dates can be expected this fall.
