Locally Grown concert series in Chapel Hill announced

Starting in a few weeks, the Town of Chapel Hill and 1360 WCHL will be sponsoring a series of concerts and movies at Wallace Plaza on top of the parking deck at 150 East Rosemary Street. Three concerts have been scheduled and the first will be on June 18 with Will McFarlane and Big Mama E and the Cool.

The second show is being presented by the Music Makers Relief Foundation which will feature Big Ron Hunter and Boo Hanks. That one will go down on July 23. Check out a few mp3s of this fantastic bluesmen below.

And last but certainly not least, the show that we're looking forward to the most. Local 506 is presenting Lost in the Trees and The Love Language who will play on August 20. Grab a few mp3s of those bands below if you don't already have them.
