Oasis performed by New York subway musicians

In September, Oasis found a truly unique way to promote their then upcoming album Dig Out Your Soul. Sheet music for four of the songs were given to subway performers in New York City who then performed the songs for the bustling MTA patrons. Now, four months later, the band have released a documentary about the experience.

The 18 minute documentary shot by The Malloys shows the performers rehearsing the songs, three of the Oasis band members (Liam, Gem and Andy) reacting to the songs and then the musicians taking the songs to the tunnels. It's a really interesting documentary, even for those who are not Oasis fans. It's really as much about the subway performers as it is about Oasis.

And watch for Majestic K. Funk doing an a cappella version "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady" at about three minutes in. It's amazing.
