Somber troubadour Justin Vernon (aka Bon Iver) has a new four song EP out on January 20 titled Blood Bank. The entire EP is now streaming on MySpace. The songs are an amazing extension of incredible soulfullness of his 2008 debut For Emma, Forever Ago.
The odd duck among the songs is the last tracks "Woods" in which Vernon uses layers a ton of vocal tracks run through an autotuner (ala Kanye West's "Heartless") to create an eerily beautiful a cappella track.
Bon Iver will be heading to Australia next week for about a week of shows. After that, the only dates on the schedule is appearances at All Tomorrow's Parties in Butlins curated by The Breeders from May 15, 16 and 1.
