Stephen Colbert's Comedy Central comedy/chat show has become a popular stop for high profile musical guests. Wilco, R.E.M., Neil Young and others have been guests on the show and now Paul McCartney will join the list. He will appear on the The Colbert Report tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 28 at 11 PM EST. It will be McCartney's only late night talk show appearance to promote The Fireman's new album Electric Arguments.In other McCartney news, today the Amoeba's Secret EP was released in the US. It features four tracks recorded live at McCartney's Amoeba Records in-store in Los Angeles in June 2007. His performance of "I Saw Her Standing There" from the EP is nomiated for a Grammy for "Best solo rock performance." He'll also perform at the awards show. Fellow Brits Radiohead are also slated to perform. The Grammys will air on CBS on Sunday, February 8 at 8 PM EST.
