Founding member of The Allman Brothers Band and celebrated southern rock guitarist Dickey Betts and his band Great Southern have just added some new tour dates to his 2013 tour schedule which includes at stop in the Triangle.Betts and the band will play the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Friday, August 30. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22, via the venue box office and Ticketmaster for $35 to $55.

I reckon it's just a coincidence but the Allman Brothers play Raleigh the same night. Terrible scheduling by Betts' manager.
