
The Avett Brothers recently filmed a set for CMT Unplugged and took the opportunity to play a brand new song which may be on their next album. The song, titled "The Once and Future Carpenter," is a melancholy ballad.
Other songs performed during the set were "Laundry Room," "January Wedding," "And It Spread" and "Where Have All the Average People Gone," a Roger Miller Cover. What the full set, which starts with the new song, below.
The Avetts will return to North Carolina to play the White Oak Amphitheatre in Greensboro on Saturday, October 8. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster for $37.50 or $42.50.
