[Canceled] The Monkees extend 45th anniversary tour, coming to Durham

1960s made for TV pop act The Monkees are extending their 45th anniversary tour into the fall, which features three of four original members, Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork.

The tour will come to the Durham Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 1. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, July 23 at 10 a.m. via the box office and Ticketmaster. Prices start at $45.

[UPDATE: The Monkees have canceled the all of their upcoming tour dates including the Durham show. The band has blamed their management for booking the new leg of the tour without their approval. If that's the case, they're certainly not running a tight ship at Monkees HQ.]
