Superchunk is back with another music video from their latest album Majesty Shredding, released last year. After the humorous video for "Crossed Wires featuring a criminal cat, the new one captures the band where they're at their best, on stage.
The new video is for "Learned to Surf," which is one of the older songs from the album, at least publicly speaking. It was first released on the EP Learned to Surf in 2009. The video features footage from the band's last two tours of Brazil, the one earlier this year and the previous one in 1998.
The editing is brilliant, matching up many of the band's signature stage moves now and then, showing that the band is still rocks as much or more than they did 13 years ago. Check out the video below.
Superchunk will be playing the City Plaza stage at the Hopscotch Music Festival on Saturday, September 10 sandwiched between The Flaming Lips and The Light Pines. It's going to be a hell of a show. Tickets for Hopscotch are available HERE.
