The Drums & Surfer Blood announce fall tour, coming to Chapel Hill

Two of the biggest buzz bands around, The Drums and Surfer Blood, are teaming up for a fall tour that will keep the two busy for about six weeks. The tour will bring them to Local 506 in Chapel Hill on Monday, Sept. 13. Tickets for the show will go on sale soon via etix for $13. The Young Friends are also on the bill.

Both The Drums self-titled release and Surfer Blood's debut Astro Coast made Amazon.com's list of the best albums of 2010 ...so far, coming in at 7 and 9 respectively. Needless to say, this will be a big show at the 506 and a likely sell out.
