Joan Baez announces summer tour, playing NCMA

Folk songstress Joan Baez has just announced a series of summer tour dates that will bring her back to the Triangle. She was last here in February 2009 playing the Carolina Theatre in Durham. This summer, she's been added to the North Carolina Museum of Art's growing line-up. She'll play the Raleigh museum on Sunday, Aug. 1.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public on April 23 here. Museum members and email subscribers can buy their tickets on April 16. They will be $20 for the public and $15 for members.
