Raleigh indie superstars Annuals have big plans for New Year's Eve. The Independent has confirmed something we've been hearing for a little while. The band will ring in the new year as headliners at Raleigh's big downtown celebration First Night. Other performers at the event will include Crucial Fiya, Justin David, Barbara Bailey Hutchinson, Bob Margolin, Lenny Marcus Trio, Wayne Henderson and Jeff Little and El Gleno Grande.Admission buttons for First Night will be available at local Harris Teeter stores for $9 starting on December 1.
The Triangle is shaking out to be a hip and happening place this New Year's Eve with Annuals in Raleigh, The Love Language, Violet Vector and Dirty Little Heaters in Chapel Hill and at least one more big local act that we can't confirm yet, but we'll keep you posted. Good times indeed.
