Brendan Benson annouces US dates, plays Carrboro

Singer/songwriter Brendan Benson, best known as Jack White's songwriting partner in crime in The Raconteurs, is hitting the road in November to support his new album My Old, Familiar Friend released in August. The tour will stop in Carrboro at the Cat's Cradle on Thursday, December 10. Cory Chisel will open the show. We'll add ticket info once it's available. Tickets will be $15. No on sale date is available yet.

Benson's band includes drummer Brad Pemberton (from Ryan Adams' band The Cardinals), bassist Jared Reynolds (of Ben Folds' band) and guitarist/keyboardist Mark Watrous (of The Raconteurs).
