This just in from LiveNation: Aerosmith has postponed its shows in Raleigh and Charlotte, set for July 7 and 9, due to "artist injury." A twitter post from Joe Perry indicates that this time it's Steven Tyler who's down and out.Tomorrow night's Raleigh date was to be Brad Whitford's first show back after a surgery resulted from his bumping his head exiting his Ferrari.

Aerosmith has postponed their scheduled shows for July 7th at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC and July 9th at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte due to an artist injury. Rescheduled dates will be announced soon.
Tickets purchased for the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek concert as well as the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Charlotte concert will be honored on the rescheduled dates.

First: Truly hope that Steven is ok, and whatever his "injury" is minor and he recovers soon. I wonder if we will get word on what's wrong and his condition? Second: UGH! Total bummer! We were so excited to go, we have front row tix to the Raleigh show. We'd been anticipating it for weeks!
Man that SUX....I have a son that this was to be his FIRST concert for getting straight A's all year in school.

Well, that sucks!! I know that it said the dates would be announced soon, but other sites say they have already been announced.. anyone know the date for Raleigh?

Hi, do we know yet if the concerts have been rescheduled? i can't find any info on the raleigh concert! i need to know asap for work. this is VERY aggravating.
