You'd think with so few local music stores in the area it wouldn't be hard to keep track of where they're located. But alas, you'd be wrong.Schoolkids Records final outpost in the Triangle is on the move again, this time back east on Hillsborough Street, past its previous location to the strip across from the NC State bell tower. The move should happen in mid-January, reports the N&O's David Menconi.
The space is smaller, but rent is cheaper, so hopefully owners will be able to hang on a little longer in tough economic times. Fingers crossed that space allows for the shop to continue hosting in-store performances.
