Roman Candle have taken a page from the Radiohead playbook and released their new EP titled Eden Was a Garden via the "pay-what-you-want" model. But Roman Candle's version has a twist. The EP is also available via the "pay-nothing" model.

Here are the details. The EP is available via the Bandcamp download service. The format of the free version is 128kbps mp3s. If you choose the "pay-what-you-want" plan, there are numerous format options. They are:
  • mp3 320kbps
  • mp3 VBR high
  • mp3 VBR low
  • AAC high
  • AAC low
  • Ogg Vorbis
  • FLAC
  • Apple Loseless
The band's album The Wee Hours Review is also available via the "pay-what-you-want" model, but is not available for free. Both downloads are available here. The EP is also available on the band's MySpace via SnoCap for the usual price of $.99 a track.

The vinyl version of Eden Was a Garden is available at shows and has an extra b-side.

Roman Candle are currently wrapping up work on their new full-length album Oh Tall Tree in the Ear which will be out in 2009.
