The Walkmen sell 'You & Me' for charity, play the Cradle

The new album from The Walkmen titled You & Me is not officially released until August 19, but you can download the album now for $5 from Amie Street. The pre-release sales will benefit the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. So go get 14 tracks for $5 and support a great cause.

In other Walkmen news, the band will be playing the Cat's Cradle on October 2. Tickets for the show will be $12 in advance and will be available via etix.com. The band last played the Triangle in April opening for Spoon. Check out a review of that show here.

You can pre-order You & Me on CD here.

I LOVE that album! I am so excited to see them at Cat's Cradle. I hear they're playing with The Little Ones...what a great bill!
