This week's free single comes from Kerli who lists WonderLand, Christmas Island as her location, but she's actually from Estonia. Her MySpace page may be a bit cryptic and cluttered with junk, but the song "Walking On Air" is very different from the image she puts forth, which is two parts goth, one part teenage girl.The song begins with a jittery electronic beat that is similar to the Radiohead beat on "The Gloaming." The vibe of the verses also lends itself to a Radiohead comparison, but as soon as the chorus hits, the song shifts and is catchy and downright happy.
This is a pretty good song. It's worth checking out.
