As you probably already know, Chatham County Line will release their new live album and DVD Sight & Sound on Tuesday, July 10. The band has just announced two free Triangle shows to celebrate the release.
First, the band will stop at Sadlack's on Hillsborough Street to play an "out-store" for Schoolkids Records at 1 p.m. on July 10. The band played there when they released Wildwood in 2010 and it was fantastic (check out photos and a short review HERE).
Later that day the band will head to Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill for an in-store performance at 7 p.m.
That's it for the free shows but the band will return to the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Saturday, August 25 for a proper release show. TONK will open. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $15.
The band will also play the big Yep Roc Records fifteenth anniversary celebration at the Cradle on Saturday, October 13. Three day passes are sold out but single night tickets are still available HERE for $40.
