Crooked Fingers rocks Orange County Social Club's anniversary bash

Eric Bachmann brought his band Crooked Fingers to the Cat's Cradle on Saturday night, not only to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Orange County Social Club, but also to celebrate the release of their new album, Breaks in the Armor.

Even though it was the first show of the band's new tour, they sounded tight. Liz Durrett complimented Bachmann's vocals fantastically, especially when she shared lead on the duet "Sleep All Summer."

The dynamic sound of Bachmann is phenomenal. He roars ferociously on the rocking tunes, like the set closer "Typhoon," and sings serenely on songs like the aforementioned "Sleep All Summer." It makes for an exciting show.

The only downside was that they only played twelve songs and wrapped up just when it felt like they were getting going. Hopefully they'll be back after their nationwide tour for a proper, headlining set in the Triangle.

Gross Ghost rocked out before Crooked Fingers. They rolled through a blistering set of fuzzed out pop rock. Be sure to check out a few photos from their set below.
