George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic announces 2011 shows, coming to Raleigh

The massive Parliament Funkadelic led by the 69-year-old Kannapolis-born funk lengend George Clinton is still hitting the road hard each year, and this fall they'll come back to the Triangle.

The band will play the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on Friday, September 2 as part of the African American Cultural Festival. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, June 17 via etix for $30. VIP tickets in the balcony will be $45.
