The Blind Boys of Alabama announce new dates, coming to Raleigh

Acclaimed gospel group the Blind Boys of Alabama have been making music for more than 70 years. Though many of the founding members have passed on, the group has continued to march forward, with founding member Jimmy Carter on lead vocals.

The Boys still tour hard and will be coming to the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on Thursday, October 6. Tickets are on sale now via etix for $25 (standing) or $35 (seated).

The group's latest album, Take the High Road, was released in May. Check out the music video for the title track below, which features the country group The Oak Ridge Boys.
