The Goo Goo Dolls are truly one of those bands that seemed like they wouldn't still be playing 5,000+ seat venues 15 years after they broke out with the album
A Boy Named Goo, but here we are and that's the case.
The Dolls along with Switchfoot and The Spill Canvas will be playing the new amphitheatre in downtown Raleigh (which might be adorned with the name Bud Light as we eluded to earlier) on Monday, August 9. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 11
here for $25 to $49.50.
Goo Goo Dolls will release their ninth studio album, Something For the Rest of Us, on June 8. Check out the video for
the first single "Real" below
, where they seem to take a page from Miley Cyrus, performing next to a giant U.S. flag. Yep. It turns out that this "Real" was a single released in 2008 for the U.S. Olympic Team soundtrack, hence the giant flag. A single from the new album has not been released yet.
