Telekinesis and The Rosebuds play free shows in Raleigh

Michael Lerner, the brainchild behind the band Telekinesis, has been in the Triangle for a few days gearing up for an upcoming European tour. He will cap off his time here with a few free shows in the area.

First, Telekinesis will stop by WKNC on Friday, September 11 at 12:45 p.m. to perform a few songs. You can listen at 88.1 FM or tune in online here.

Next, both Telekinesis and The Rosebuds will play BugFest in downtown Raleigh near the capitol building on Saturday, September 12. The show is free and will also feature sets by Graffiti Monkeys, The Pneurotics, Gambling the Muse and Sandbox Band. Check out the set times and additional information here.

And finally, Telekinesis will play another free show in Raleigh at Tir Na Nog on Monday, September 14.

Ivan of The Rosebuds will be playing bass with Telekinesis at all of the shows, much like he did at XX Merge. Try to make it out to at least one of the shows and if you haven't picked up his debut album Telekinesis!, check it out. It's full of pop-flavored goodness.

It's going to be a late one, starting at about 10 or 10:30pm with Motor Skills opening.
