Works Progress Administration's Raleigh show loses line-up, increases ticket price

So the big supergroup Works Progress Administration show slated for September 17 at the Lincoln Theatre has undergone some big changes. First, the band's line-up that night will not feature big names like Benmont Tench (of The Heartbreakers), Pete Thomas (of The Attractions) and others that Lincoln Theatre originally touted on it's schedule. The line-up is still strong, but features just Glen Phillips, Sean Watkins, Luke Bulla, Tyler Chester and Jerry Roe.

Another incredibly odd change, is the price of tickets have gone up after already being on sale for two months. The show is now billed as partially seated and tickets will cost you $16 instead of the original $12. Is the group worth $16, sure. But you can't raise the price after the show has been on sale for months. Something fishy is going on somewhere.

On a more upbeat note, local band The Shucks have been added to open the show.
