Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler injures self...again

There are lots of weird things about running a music blog, and sometimes the one of the strangest things is which post you write becomes the most popular.

Recently, a ridiculous number of people have come here to find out one thing — when will Aerosmith play their postponed show at Walnut Creek, which was delayed a day before the show in early July when Steven Tyler injured his leg.

There's still no word on when that show will take place, but in my opinion...it's not looking good, folks.

Steven Tyler has found himself in medical care once again after falling backwards off the stage last night during the band's show at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.

Witnesses say he did a twirl on the stage's catwalk during "Love in an Elevator" and essentially stepped backwards off the stage, landing on a couple (lucky?) fans.

He's said to be doing well and was reportedly joking with medical personnel as he was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but he has suffered minor head and neck injuries and a shoulder injury.

Oh, Steven, you little scamp. Be well, and please come to Raleigh soon so your fans will stop emailing me about it.
