Here's a great little video of Charleston band The Explorers Club playing a tune in the Socrates Sculpture Garden in Queens, NY. The performance was filmed in June of 2008 but just made it's way to the Village Voice's website about a week ago prior to the band's show at the Mercury Lounge last night. The video features the song "Don't Forget the Sun" from their debut album Freedom Wind.Also, check out the Voice's interview with Explorers Club frontman Jason Brewer here.

I saw The Explorers Club at Local 506 a while back & liked them a lot! Hope they come back to town soon. I recommend the album, too!
