Elbow and Kitty Daisy & Lewis open for Coldplay

UK groups Elbow and Kitty Daisy & Lewis are set top open for Coldplay at their Walnut Creek show in Raleigh on August 6. These two openers are quite diverse. While Elbow leans towards experimental Brit-pop, Kitty Daisy & Lewis are a straight-up rockabilly band. I wonder if Coldplay's fans will warm up to some old school rockabilly?

Elbow's most recent album The Seldom Seen Kid was released last March in the US and Kitty Daisy & Lewis' self-titled album is currently only available digitally in the US.

Mali duo Amadou and Mariam will also open some of the show.
