The debut album from Electric Owls which features singer/songwriter Andy Herod and Jason Caperton (of The Comas) along with Matt Gentling (of Band of Horses, Archers of Loaf) and Cully Symington (of Gutter Twins) is due out on May 5 via Vagrant Records. The album is titled Ain't Too Bright and features ten tracks recorded at Echo Mountain studios in Asheville.The band released an EP titled Magic Show in November which featured three tracks that ended up on Ain't Too Bright. Electric Owls only have one US show scheduled right now in Asheville at Rocket Club on March 15. The band will spend a good portion of April and May on tour in Europe.
