If you're ready for a big party with some great local bands that costs you nothing, then you'll want to check out the upcoming first annual Carrboro Block Party on Sunday, May 5.
Lost in the Trees, The Love Language and Loamlands (Kym Register and Will Hackney, formerly of Midtown Dickens) will play the party in the Cat's Cradle parking lot. It will start at 4 p.m. and will also feature food trucks and other fun things.
There will also be bands playing inside the Cat's Cradle and The ArtsCenter during the event. Those bands have not been announced/chosen yet.
While the show is free, you'll need a voucher to get in. They will be available starting on Tuesday, April 9, at carrboroblockparty.com. There will be a limit of two vouchers per person.
